New and Miscellaneous Stuff
Been all over the place lately, don't know if I'll ever finish any of these. The first two I recently planned as a Dead or Alive spinoff/sequel to the ninja series, and it took quite a while to find all the right pieces to make it reasonable. But these days, I tend to start something promising but quickly lose interest once the models are all set up and ready to go. I'll probably take a long break, but maybe some random people out there can give their input on which story they would like to see finished, if/when I come back. (The last one I won't do because of some glitchy issue that came up a long time ago).

ReplyDeleteI think that your short stories were good and your art is truly wonderful.
However, what impressed me most are the facial expressions, the raw human emotions they convey, Their faces, eyes...everything...really THEY do the talking.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say thanks for the encouragement and positive feedback. I just want to let everyone know that really, this stuff is a lot easier than it seems.
I started working with this stuff in January this year, never having any previous experience with 3D models ever. What inspired me to start researching this hobby was a random post in a forum about a guy who creates these great Lara Croft models. From there on, I just started playing around with the software and models. It was a bit rough at first, but eventually you just start to realize how it all fits together.
I'm no expert on 3D models at all. If you look at what others have done, my amateurism really shows. But I truly enjoy doing this, it's actually really fun letting your imagination run free after a day of work or school. All it takes is imagination and desire to make it happen. I don't have infinite time to make every render amazing and perfect, but I have plenty of ideas. I encourage anyone with ideas and desire to give it a shot, maybe someday this will all be the next big thing :)
